Great honest business! I had a problem with the brakes on my car so I took it to their shop. It was late in the day, so I was worried that they couldn't fix my car that day. Since it was a Saturday, they would also be closed on Sunday and I was worried my car could be in the shop for two days. They took the time to explain everything to me, so I relaxed and was no longer worried. Not only did they have the car fixed in a couple of hours, they were honest and told me the front brakes were fine, I only needed to replace the pads and rotors on the rear brakes. They also explained that I should replace my tires, even though they don't sell tires. Some places would have tried to sell me parts and services that I didn't need, but they were polite, honest and had fast, excellent service. I recommend them to everyone! Update: I couldn't remember the gentleman's name that was so great, but then I remembered that he gave me his business card. I want to personally thank Sam (Service Director). He was great and he is an asset to Halsey's Auto Center.

I would highly recommend Halsey’s Auto Service. I have always had great customer service. When they diagnose a problem you can be sure it is a correct assessment. I’ve never had any surprises and big added costs after I received the quote for repairs. They communicate with you and I’ve never had a call go unreturned. I believe they are a step above any dealers service department. I will continue to take my vehicles to Halsey’s for Service.

Honest and very thorough! I had went to one shop (firestone) in canyon country and they were charging me $1700 for spark plug change and coil change, they told me all coils need to be replace, I asked Sam and he said theres no way. Long story short I need only 2 to be replace and not all (8). I was charge less than 600 bucks with hasley and I know I saved a ton. That's how you get customers to come back!!!! I sure would.!!!!

I don't leave reviews often, but John & his team always go out of their way to make things easy. With no appointment, I dropped in with an issue with my car. Not only did John remember the last time I was there, but his mechanic took a look at it and gave me a detailed estimate on what it would take to fix it. I've used several shops in SCV, and found these guys to be one of the good ones.
